Scott.Weber Workspace Opens Premium Flexible Offices in the Heart of Prague. A Historical Building Renovated by the Crestyl Company Enters a New Era.

The transformation of this historical building represents not only the largest Scott.Weber Workspace project yet, but also a revolution in the flexible offices sector. Náměstí Republiky 7, Prague 1. The address of an 8-floor building whose prominent location in the very heart of Prague was utilized by insurance companies, banks, political parties, and even Laurin & Klement automotive company during the last 100 years. Now it continues its tradition as a place of business for successful companies under Scott.Weber Workspace in the form of premium flexible offices for rent, for which purpose it was transformed in full. A delicate reconstruction of this historical building was realized by the Crestyl company under the NR7 project and the total costs exceeded one billion CZK.
In a unique interior that combines neobaroque elements with the comfort of a modern office space, Scott.Weber offers 4 630 m² of workspace that includes not only 90 offices and 17 meeting rooms, but also an inner atrium, rooftop terrace, winter garden, and unique event spaces. “Náměstí Republiky represents our vision of the future regarding the way we work,” said Adam Zvada, Scott.Weber Workspace’s CEO and founder. “This project shows that flexible offices can be not only functional but also inspiring.”
“Our goal was to renew the building’s faded glory and original appearance and renovate it, so it represents one of the most significant places in the whole Czech Republic in a dignified way. That worked and we are happy that together with Scott.Weber Workspace, we are bringing new life to this unique locality,” summed up Simon Johnson, Crestyl’s CEO.

But Náměstí Republiky 7 isn’t a mere workspace. It’s a place that combines top design and an inspirational community. Thanks to its prestigious position with fantastic accessibility, it’s also the ideal space for unique events, conferences, and other social occasions. For this purpose, it has 4 flexible event spaces, the largest of which can hold up to 130 people. “The center’s activity calendar focuses on well-being and work productivity by combining workspace with community and educative experiences,” explains Martin Holý, Scott.Weber Workspace’s Commercial Director.
A significant part of this unique building concept is maintaining the delicate balance between the original neobaroque appearance from 1905, with later adaptations made by Ernst Mühlstein and Victor Fürth, and modern design solutions. “We didn’t want to change the building, we honor its history and century-long identity,” said Martin Žídek, Scott.Weber Workspace’s Head of Design. “Unique elements such as wrought iron railings, historical light fixtures, and mirror wall were preserved and set in modern context promoting focus and creativity.”
The architectonical concept of workspaces is the work of Chapman Taylor studio, which previously participated in the reconstruction of W Hotel Prague on Wenceslas Square. “This project illustrates a delicate integration of modern design into a historical environment. Our goal was to create a space that promotes inspiration, productivity, and community,” explained Filip Pokorný, Chapman Taylor’s Director.

For this extensive transformation, Scott.Weber Worspace turned to its long-term partner Prochazka & Partners. “We are very happy we could help Scott.Weber Workspace select the ideal space and negotiate a favorable renting agreement. The project of flexible offices at Náměstí Republiky 7 was created by Scott.Weber Workspace in cooperation with the building’s owner, CRESTYL Development Group, Prochazka & Partners Commercial Real Estate Advisors, Wilsons law firm, and Chapman Taylor architectural studio.
